La Salle High School - Presentation
As a part of our February 2011 masterplan presentation for La Salle High School College Preparatory, we created 3 large format graphic boards showing conceptual design of a new Water Polo facility, Gymnasium, and Performing Arts Center. In deference to the well-established residential neighborhood to the south, we proposed depressing the pool and gymnasiuim into the site and providing a landscaped berm to mediate the acoustical impact of the new sports programs. The Performing Arts Center would open up to the main parking lot and redefine a formal entrance for the site. A mix of hand sketched renderings and Google Earth background imagery, the presentation was well-recieved, but ultimately a different firm was chosen to proceed with the masterplanning work.
